This is what we asked our Power Poll Nashville members in a recent survey.

It's an extraordinary ranking, really, grounded in the accumulated wisdom and awareness of our Power Poll members. They know a lot. They are the ones who assembled the list.

Before you start reading, a heads-up:

• We have written descriptions about the top 10 vote-getters.
• Then we publish the names of ALL vote-getters below, along with their ranks.
• In the event of a tie, a member shares a ranking with the person they are tied with.
• If you want to find a person’s ranking quickly, enter the name in the search bar at the top of the list below. Last names alone work.
• 281 Power Poll Nashville Members took part in this survey. The average number of votes per participant was 56.

• Full disclosure: Bruce Dobie is Power Poll's CEO and the Nashville Correspondent. He ended up tied for 14th in the rankings. He sent out the email containing the ballot. This may have influenced the votes he got.
